How the estimate is calculated
Regular pay is regular hours multiplied by the base rate. Overtime pay is overtime hours multiplied by the base rate and overtime multiplier. Night and weekend amounts are calculated as flat per-hour additions, then bonuses are added.
Before using the result
- Only enter regular hours that are not already counted in the overtime field.
- Night and weekend hours may overlap if your employer pays both differentials for the same hours.
- This tool does not calculate taxes, deductions, holiday rules, minimum guarantees or employer-specific rounding.
- Overtime laws and policies vary. Use the rule shown by your employer or payroll provider.
The result is an estimated gross amount based only on your entries. Confirm final hours, eligibility and pay with your employer's official payroll records.
Track the complete month
A calculator is useful for a quick scenario. A shift calendar is more useful when hours, start times, workplace profiles, overtime rules and bonuses change throughout the month.
Track shifts and pay together
Both My Shift Planner apps calculate estimates from the shifts and pay settings you record inside your private planner.
